About the Artist
Hello! I am an artist currently living in Knightdale, North Carolina with my three children and wonderful husband. Painting and design are a lifelong passion of mine. I graduated from Utah Valley University in 2013 in Art and Visual Communications with an emphasis in Graphic design. While I love to design, painting is my absolute passion.
I mainly love working with oils, and acrylics, but occasionally enjoy experimenting in other mediums. When I am not creating art, I enjoy exploring new places with my family, reading, cooking, and hanging out with my toy poodle. My work has been sold on Minted, The West Elm Local program and exhibited in shows throughout the us.

About the Art
In my artistic journey, I utilize the canvas as a medium for visual poetry, where mark making, texture, and vibrant color combinations converge to form an intricately layered image. Nature, interiors, music, and emotion serve as my guiding inspirations.
I am drawn to the beauty that arises from embracing imperfection, and the act of making art grants me the liberty to explore this notion fully. Enjoying the process itself is a crucial narrative, as integral to my work as the final piece. My paintings evolve organically, usually without any predetermined ideas in mind, and guided by my intuition. With each layer, I construct a tapestry of hues and marks, where every stroke and shade a response to the last.
My creative process mirrors life's delicate balance, where light and dark interweave, where precision and imperfection find their common ground.
My work emerges from an unyielding desire to create, an inner voice that demands outward expression and refuses to be stifled.
Ultimately, I seek to inspire, and to bring joy to my viewer. I believe in the positive mental health effects of surrounding ourselves with color and beauty.
